Local tourist in London

It’s not often you are a tourist in the area you live… Having grown up in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, a stone’s throw from the birthplace of the Bronte sisters, I soon realised once I’d left how much I took for granted, especially now we’re in London! But rather than dwell on the past we decided we’d be better making the most of London whilst we’re here, so we did. Dan chose the deep sea exhibition at the Natural History Museum which was full of weird and wonderful creatures to keep any boyfriend or child entertained. I decided we should stroll across the road to the V&A to see the 1:1 small spaces exhibition, a refreshingly tangible exhibition – it’s not often you can experience architecture in galleries without having to imagine yourself stood on a plan or walking around a model.

So why not become a local tourist for the day, it’s amazing what we take for granted!

Xx
