Simply scrumptious
Nothing like a bit of sunshine at the weekend to kick start us into exploring somewhere other than the area near our flat, and a good excuse to get my legs working! So, on Sunday we took a trip to Putney to one of our fave places – Wallace and co. The last time we went was over a year ago when we hadn’t made the link to the enthusiastic and cheery Gregg Wallace from Masterchef, who also shares my husband’s love of puddings! Once we’d eaten we soon made a promise to go back for some of the yummiest, classic and traditional homemade food with a twist, reminiscent of trips home to Yorkshire. The environment was vibrant, the atmosphere bustling, the staff friendly and the food simple yet scrumptious! In fact the only complaint I have is that the custard was cold, apart from that it was a 10/10.
