Anonymity

This range is inspired by my day job, and the familiar figures often added into sketches by architects and interior designers. The final push started in September when I made a card for my parents to say thanks for helping us move all the way from Manchester to London, and that very card has made it into the range as the ‘on the move’ card.

The idea behind these ‘blob men’ (as my boyfriend calls them) is that no matter who you are, where you are, or when you are there, it takes the smallest of things to create a smile. It doesn’t matter about who these characters are, the simplicity and overall scene will hopefully provoke a smile.  So please spread the word and a little bit of happiness to brighten someone’s day.

Striking a chord

Inspiration for this range came from my boyfriend’s dad who is in a band – Unfinished Business. We’d just been to see him in one of his gigs where I started doodling a guitar, which with a bit of TLC made it into the ‘striking a chord’ range for the musicians and music lovers amongst us. I am still working on more instruments for the range so any suggestions or requests are welcome!

Invites

So far I have been asked by a few people if I could design wedding invites for them, but as with most things without having examples the hardest part is getting the first client so that previous examples can be shown to others! Well, the good news is that now I have my first client and have broken through the first boundary hopefully I can get some more interest.

More handmade cards coming soon!
