October Folkfest – Day 3
Why does it always get to Sunday evening so quickly? Maybe it’s because time flies when you’re having fun, and I’ve had a relaxed weekend having fun dedicating time to some creative projects including… new Christmas cards (watch this space) of which the first one was listed as my day 3 card in my shop today… a tablecloth from scraps of material rescued from work when there was a clear out of samples, and my boyfriend’s old trousers (this is quite possible the worst thing I have sewn but it makes me smile)… and finally the first page of my sketchbook project (nighttime stories is my theme) which I’m really disappointed with but hopefully my next few sketches will improve!
I’m glad to have had time to start my nighttime story sketchbook so it is today’s inspiration for picks from my fellow folkfesters, dreaming:
Vintage dreams – Halloween gift tags (I always dream of vintage)
Treasure trove jewels by Laura Groom – Time for tea Alice pendant (well she did get lost in a dreamworld)
Floral Gifts 4 u – Swiss roll flannel cake (who doesn’t dream of calorie free swiss roll?)
