October Folkfest – Day 11
Another one of those Mondays today, after listing today’s Santa card I had low blood sugar twice this morning so decided to come home at lunchtime to work in the comfort of my own home to find the communal stairs had been polished and I wasn’t allowed up to the flat!! This didn’t help my blood sugars and I felt rubbish all afternoon, but I did manage to finish the night-time owl front cover to accompany my first page (of many) for the sketchbook project. I’m not entirely happy with it but I wanted to do something textile based, and I’m happier with it than the first page so hopefully I’m improving.
As I need sleep now it’s a quick one from me tonight, my fave folkfest picks for today chosen with ‘night-time’ in mind:
Lemonade and lamingtons – Hot water bottle cosy (I was definitely considering a hot water bottle tonight, but then decided my boyfriend will just have to put up with my cold feet)
Mushy makes – Owl purse (had to get an owl in there, and these are cuties)
Lilly’s night garden – Green streetlamp card (I have an idea for one of my sketchbook project pages that involves a streetlamp, and an REM lyric)
Molly moo and Jessica too – Purple felt bear (how adorable, would quite happily snuggle up with this cute bear to go to sleep)
